HDRI Light Kit Pro 1.5 looks Sexy
Just wow… I have previously purchased the HDRI Light Kit Pro from Nick Campbell over at Greyscale Gorilla and have been using it on personal projects for some time now. I found the user interface for this tool to be straight forward and very easy to use…
Implementing this light kit into my scenes generates some awesome renders. Nick Campbell has over 6 years experience in the motion design and knowledge of traditional photography, has brought us this great piece of kit to our cinema 4D renders.
Well now version 1.5 of the HDRI light kit Pro is available to purchase and it is something to shout about. But best yet previous users who have purchased this product get a free upgrade, how happy I am? yes you guessed it very happy indeed…
Some of the new features really excite me! easier user interface, new render studios included and new light types.
But mostly I have been looking forward to checking out the daylight rid which looks very powerful to say the least. I am sure we have all came across not very good looking day light scene renders in our time generated by the standard C4D Sky object and lights, let alone the environment attributes and fog…
I think generally we all tend to use high Res HDRI sky’s or sky maps generate from other applications such as Vue or Terragen 2.
I am yet to receive my free upgrade of this nifty piece of kit so that I can get rendering out some daylight scenes.
I would be over the moon if there "was" some hidden extras in HDRI Light kit Pro 1.5 which Nick forgot to mention such as: Fog, Dust, Lenses or Lens Flairs, Glow as the standard c4d light glow baffles me! Also possibly reflexes and Time – Coordinates.
But maybe that is something to think about in the next version Nick…
Optimized for Speed and Sexy Renders
Version 1.5 is now fully compatible with Cinema 4D 12. Of course, it still works great with version 11 and above, but the lights now are compatible with the new Linear Workflow that was introduced in version 12. What does this really mean? It means that the lights look better and render even faster (up to 40% faster) than previous versions of the kit.
Perfect DayLight
The new HDRI Light Kit Pro also features the new Daylight Rig. I have been using this non stop in so many renders lately and I’m really excited to share it with you. It’s made to instantly add perfect daylight lighting to your scene.
But Wait… There’s More
New rigs like the Bounce Card and new Studios like the “Golden Hour Studio” and the “Black Reflective Studio” round out the package and make this the best Light Kit Pro update yet. I built this Light Kit to help turn Cinema 4D into a professional lighting studio and to make your renders shine. I hope you check it out.
