HDRI Light Kit Pro Demo Tutorial from Nick Campbell on Vimeo.
Nick Cambell from Greyscale Gorilla has been hard at work with the HDRI light Kit Pro, I know how thrust rating it is trying to get the perfect studio lighting setup for your renders, There are various scene files you can find for car studio renders on the internet but the results are not very good and hard to tweak.
I can even say that I have tried my self to built some type of studio light setup kit like the HDRI light Kit Pro but have only ended up with half decent results. I was seriously considering buying the HDRI Light Studio application, hdrilightstudio but this is £499 (ex VAT) for the pro version. I must say that the product that Nick has put tougher here is a star buy for $69 which I am downloading my self right now!
The option to easily setup and bake HDRI maps straight from your scene inside cinema 4D is just perfect hdrilightstudio can be a little fiddly trying to place light boxes around the object working in two applications can be a pain and time consuming, but HDRI light Kit Pro seems like a doddle to setup and export these maps all inside Cinema 4D.
I cant wait to star testing this on some of my recent car models I have been building. Check out the HDRI light Kir Pro here
