C4D Plugins New & Old

HDRI Light Kit Pro – Daylight Rig

Nick Campbell over at Greyscalegorilla has been working hard extending his new product  HDRI Light Kit Pro. His latest version is the Daylight Rig, which looks really exciting.

I have tryed the HDRI Light Kit Pro my self and found it to be very usefull when lighting scenes, so i must say i am looking forward to testing out the new light rig…

This rig quickly simulates daylight lighting with sun and sky and renders very realistic shadows and highlights with and without Global Illumination. It renders super fast and is a great way to instantly light any scene. I have been using it a TON lately and I can’t wait for you guys to try it when the new version of the HDRI Light Kit Pro comes out. This will be a free update for existing users which means that anybody that buys the kit before the new version comes out will get the update FREE in their email inbox. There are also a few more goodies in store with the new version including new studio presets and HDRI Images. Getting really excited for this one.

NaviCam For C4D

NaviCam is a Plugin for Cinema4D. It enhances the camera-navigation inside the editorview vastly. Just point with your mouse on any spot in your scene, NaviCam will jump right to that spot, centers it and sets the camera-pivot. Editing a 3D-scene becomes faster and makes more fun.

If you have ever worked with a SpaceMouse, you know how an improved camera-navigation can speed up your workflow. Think about the amount of time you spend moving and rotating your camera-view. The advantage of NaviCam is, that you don´t need any hardware device, so you can keep your fingers on the keyboard.
But even in combination with a SpaceMouse, NaviCam works perfectly and turns it into a powerfull team-play.
